Adjusting Colors On WorkforceGPS

About

If you experience difficulty distinguishing colors or need to adjust how content appears, both Windows and Mac provide built-in tools to enhance visibility. These features allow you to modify color filters, invert colors, reduce transparency, and more, ensuring a better experience on WorkforceGPS. This page outlines how to customize your display for improved usability, depending on your operating system.

For Windows Users (Windows 10 or 11):

If Windows is your operating system, you can use Microsoft’s color filter accessibility feature to enhance color visibility on WorkforceGPS.

The color filter feature in Windows allows you to adjust the screen's color palette, making it easier to distinguish between elements based on brightness and hue variations. This feature is particularly helpful for individuals with color blindness. Go to Your Color Filters Settings

Windows 11 operation setting for Accessibility: Color Filters. Displaying how colors can look without the filter on, using the dark theme.

For Mac Users:

If you’re a Mac user, you can modify display colors to make it easier to see what’s on the screen.

Options include:

  • Inverting display colors.
  • Making transparent items solid.
  • Adjusting colors with color filters to better distinguish on screen elements.

For detailed instructions on using these features, visit Apple’s guide to display color accessibility.

Note: Color filters may affect the appearance of images and videos.

You can also use Accessibility Shortcuts to quickly toggle features such as Invert Colors, Reduce Transparency, or Color Filters on or off.

Additionally, you can make display colors warmer during nighttime hours using Night Shift settings for a more comfortable viewing experience.
