This video highlights how the Disability Program Navigator (DPN) facilitated an Integrated Resource Team (IRT) within a One-Stop Career Center (WorkSource) in Portland, Oregon.

The IRT is now a strategic approach that is utilized in the Department of Labor's Disability Employment Initiative that has been in place since 2010. The video includes an example of braiding resources around the employment needs of an individual job seeker with disabilities and tells the story of how the IRT was successful in assisting a job seeker who is deaf receive training at his local community college, including a paid internship, with the goal of expanding his career opportunities and obtaining higher paying employment.
