- OSEP Fast Facts – Children Identified with Autism - The Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) from the U.S. Department of Education developed an interactive infographic on students with autism. The information displays data collected as part of the IDEA’s Section 618 requirement for states to submit data about infants, toddlers, and youth with disabilities birth through age 21. Note, in SY 2017-2018, 72 percent of students with autism graduated with a regular high school diploma.
