Department of Justice's Revised ADA Regulations Title II-Fact Sheet

The Department of Justice issued final regulations covering Titles II and III of the ADA to incorporate the changes made by the passage of the ADA Amendments Act (ADDAA) in 2008. Title II prohibits discrimination on the basis of disbaility in state and local government services. Title III prohibits discrimination on the basis of disability by public accommodations and in commercial facilities.
The Department has prepared fact sheets identifying the major changes in the rules.
