Announcement
Disability Employment Summit & Mini Action Lab
About
In its role as a national partner in the U.S. Department of Labor’s State Exchange on Employment & Disability (SEED), the National Governors Association Center for Best Practices is hosting a Disability Employment Summit & Mini Action Lab October 24-25 in Washington, DC.
Interagency state teams are invited to submit a statement of interest to participate in the summit and mini action lab where they will gain a clearer understanding of the national policy landscape and state best practices for expanding training and employment opportunities for people with disabilities, make new connections to peers working on similar issues at the state and national level, and begin taking actionable steps to meet their Governor’s disability workforce policy goals. NGA will cover the cost of travel and hotel for selected state teams to participate in the summit and mini action lab.
States are encouraged to submit a brief statement of interest by Monday, September 18. Please click on link in the related content section of the page.
